I saw this at the store the other day and it said you're supposed to put it on the nut and it will help the strings slide smoothly or something.
In all my years of playing I've never heard of greasing the nut, nor ever really had a problem with it. Is this something I am missing out on?
Just wondering what it would actually do. It kinda sounds like blinker fluid. Heh. Does it help guitars play better, or what is the deal?
Guthrie Govan uses it, so I'd say it isn't blinker fluid.
