    My handmade custom pedalboard

I just finished building my first pedal board and I wanted to see what you guys thought about it. There's too many pics to show here, so I posted my Facebook album link to it. Thanks.

Nice work! That's quite an angle, but if it works for you, very cool!

Thanks man, it's not as sharp or high up as it looks. It's because of the thickness of the boards. I used a 1" board and I should have gone with a 1/2".

Thanks. It's 2' X 8" so it seats about 5 4.2" wide pedals. It's very heavy, I'm also considering installing a handle on the back side of where the surge bar is.

    Wirelessly posted

    Do you gig often?

I switched to a pedaltrain and i am very glad its lighter than my first board, as the gigs are picking up and it gets moved a lot more.

I actually just started playing again. But it's like I'm picking up right where I left off, except with almost no equipment. I need to pick up a few pedal for right now, just messing around at home for now. But I would definitely like to get back into doing gigs again, I really miss that.

I looked at the PedalTrain boards and they are sweet, that's what I based mine off of but I used wood instead of aluminum. I could have gone with one of those, but I like to build stuff so I thought I would try it out. I'm pretty happy with the results. I may even try to go lighter with thinner wood planks next time.

Try pine. I made one similar, a little larger, but quite similar. Weights very little due to the pine.
