Ok, so this is going to be a bit of a challenge, maybe a stupid one but I don't have much better stuff to do, haha. A few months ago, I bought an Ibanez body off eBay, which I'm guessing to be an RG350 or a similar model. The seller did mention that it had neck pocket damage but it was unclear in the photo how much damage there actually was. Turned out it was violated and looked like the previous owner had attempted to convert it to a set neck using a fucking brick.
I'm not expecting much but would anyone by any chance have any ideas about how to fill this in?
(I have built a guitar before but all my routing work was with templates so I'm not exactly a human CNC.)
You're going to have to clean all the crap out and add new wood to the sides at the very least. Might have to route the pocket even deeper and put a bit of wood on the bottom of it. Lots of work for a questionable return.
