I have tried to lower a floydnut on a Kramer neck I have, but it turned out shit.
This have happened everytime I try this, so I don't know how to do.
I dont have any access to good jigs or machines to do this so I have to go with hand files or sand paper and block (I usually use a trem sustain block I have laying around)
The problem is that it gets a small "radius" and not flat as it should be. This is hard as fuck to avoid.
How do I do it right? is there any how-to video about this? I have searched on youtube but found nothing
You're trying to plane the surface so that it sits lower? Is it a bolt on? Wouldn't you just shim the neck up slightly to compensate?
