Had the tailpiece and bridgepiece from my explorer soaking in baths of coke/wd40 in the kitchen because they were still a bit grimy. Went to wash dishes and figured, "Why not?".
Should I expect a streak free shine? Does anyone else do this? I can't see anything bad happening.
I wouldn't imagine it being a great idea given the water content and if there's remnants of rinse aid it may fuck with the plating. Just use straight phosphoric acid like a real man.
