i'm about to convert some of my paint studio into a little music corner, playing and recording. currently the only place i have to play is in the living room, where the gf and daughter hang out constantly watching tv, so it's not comfortable for me to play/record there. so i have a spot that is mostly just storage right now, so i'm gonna move all my stuff out there (my studio is in a converted shed beside the house).
But i create a lot of dust, from sanding and painting. i hate cleaning, haha, but i have to do it there 2-3 times a week atleast. my Eleven Rack is in a sealed gatar case, so that isnt an issue, but my guitars, not so much. i'll likely just keep one out there, but i need a good solution to keep the dust off of it when i'm not playing. a hard case is always gonna get in the way, and i hate storing them in soft cases, especially in a workshop type environment.
So anyone have any solutions they use? i need easy access, relatively sealed up.
Build a cupboard with a couple of layers of weatherseal along the door edges and some of those butterfly latches they use on racks to really pull the door tightly shut?
