    Tolexing a guitar body?

So, the box of UV parts, kind of thinking about not selling it on and actually doing a different finish on it, so looking into tolexing it. Now, not sure how easy it is to do, and the only things I've tolexed are two amp heads, which is pretty easy.

Now I am debating a snakeskin or crocodile skin type finish on it and matching the headstock, maybe.

Has anyone done this, or seen examples? Or does anyone know of someone who's good at this in the UK and I can farm the work out to possibly so I don't hash it up?

hmm, would look fine I'd assume as long as the front veneer is one piece, which would be easy because most tolex is quite large. Blue snake skin tolex is cool!

there's no superglue involved, or is there????

I found this today, and it looks like it's possible, just wondering how durable it is. Not sure my skill level is good enough to do it myself.

Also found a few videos on creating an airbrushed snakeskin effect which were pretty cool too...

Airbrushed would probably last longer (because paint), but the body in that video looks cool.
