Arsestick - my girlfriends guitar build

Today some of the first materials for my girlfriends guitar got delivered!
She's going to build it mostly by herself (because unlike me she can actually build stuff and not just rampage). But I'm complementing that with my vast knowledge about guitar construction!

Currently it's called "Arsestick", but it might change during the manufacturing process.

    UNBOXING TIME!!!!

The strat pickguard is for me tho.
    Same with these pickups.
REALLY looking forward to trying out the Roswell dual blade strat size humbucker!
Gonna put it in neck position on a guitar in the future.
Roswell are cheap pickups, a local guitar parts suppliers own brand.

    HERE's THE GUITAR DESIGN!

Three string guitar with a slightly V-style body. It will have small feet instead of horns
The neck will be a 5-piece neck with graphite reinforcements instead of truss rod

3 string bridge and humbucker will arrive soon!

(I assume the bent fretboard is normal because of fret slots... and the plank itself is not 100% straight but good enoguh I guess!)

    AWESOME PROGRESS UPDATE!!!! 2017-05-16

    Sawing...

    Routing...

    Aww yeah!!!

Now the biggest challenges are finally over. We'll just have to rout a neck pocket, round off the back of the neck, make place for electronics and then put it together.

Since the neck is so narrow, we will make it quite thick. Otherwise it's a bit crampy to play chords with hands like that, but yeah, it doesn't need much shaping.

Oh, I see. I thought it was one of the new skin features in AutoCAD 2018. You know, they come up with so many new features every year, it's hard to keep up!
