Has anybody tried putting a Jackson neck on a RG body?

I know they have different neck pockets and shapes, but how different are the width?

It's, for me personally, the absolute ultimate metal superstrat look.

The RG body is my favorite, and the Jackson headstock is my favorite.
Both are pointy, so in same way, they have a better symboise than the rounder soloist/dinky body shape.

(I would prefer ebony/rosewood fretboard but since the CITES regulations are here I guess I better be future-safe for international touring with a maple fretboard instead)

Just like I prefer Jackson headstock + RG body combo

I prefer a Stratocaster headstock on a Les Paul body

Of course, the headstock should match the body obviously, but this is one of the only pictures I could find online.

That headstock just looks more like it was designed to work visually with the les paul body.

The classic "square-ish" Les Paul headstock just doesn't fit in my mind

See gyus? It looks fucking awesome with RG body and Jackson headstock!!!

They are perfect together

The RG body is pointy = the RG headstock is not
The Jackson headstock is pointy = the Soloist/Dinky body shape is not

That's exactly why I think this combo works so great, it's just a perfect match

(the Rhoads is the best Jackson design tho, works PERFECT with the headstock)

I honestly don't like the Ibanez RG headstock much anyway  it's OK and iconic but it does look a little weird
