    Awesome! Fantastic series of articles on how to use a metronome.

    The only thing I don't agree with is the chromatic workouts. Using a major or minor scale instead will help get melody in your head while you're working on technique. If you practice all the positions of the major scale, all of your fingers will get a good workout, and you'll be (subliminally) working on melody.
