    i seem to relate with his personality, and i'd bet hes worn out from the last couple years and doesnt really feel like doing it right this moment.

    I'm really liking the sound of that tuning. I have a 6 string baritone that's in B standard, would it be a lot different tension wise in open B? I'd like to try it, if it wouldn't mess with the neck.

    Your 6th string would be fine, but the rest will all have to go up at least a whole tone (the 1st string, B, would have to go up 4 semi-tones, so that's where you might consider trying a lighter gauge)

    He says in the interview video that he only just (had) got up and it was the first time he had gotten any decent sleep on the tour.
