So I have been noodling around with a guitar for some time now... I have now decided to get serious about practice and learning.
Short of it all... need some advice... I want a structured plan... here are 3 options I'm looking at.
1. Live teacher... this seems great but I am an adult, last teacher I had tried to teach me Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and I could not see paying a teacher x amount of dollars an hour to watch me practice chord shapes.
2. Troy Stetina Books... had them awhile, I love death metal and prog... these books seem very well structured and I'm sure there quite good but seems little boring to me.
3. Jamplay... I have been looking into this, seems like the information is pretty round and the material seems to be more enjoyable to play... just don't know...
Any thoughts guys?
The Stetina books are very good indeed. The only issue is that they cannot observe your technique and let you know if you are doing something wrong.
If you are interested, I do Skype lessons for $15 per half hour, here is a vid so you know my skill level:
