I'm trying my ass off to learn my favorite parts of some paul Gilbert songs, and theres this sweet little run in the Curse of Castle Dragon where he's doing 3 notes per string descending, and I can't fucking keep up for shit.
...then during the second half, where it's all ascending seems to be cake.
I figure I needa work on my up down up-up down up alternations. BUT how do I keep it fluid? I fucking hit the string too soon, or I stutter and start going Down-up-down, and then I become majorly slow.
Maybe I'm just frustrated and need to chill a second, but if you guys have some exercises for this; I'd be much obliged
it's the part at 0:50
