I'm gonna do a medley of its solos. That's the plan, anyway. I think the tips of my fingers are going to erode before then, though. Some of the bends in it are killing me. I'm as far as Tornado (that was actually the first one I learnt), with the exceptions of Take No Prisoners and Five Magics.
Tackle just one of the solos and the all of its bends are just delightful. Practicing all of them as a piece and the bends are....well, they're no longer just delightful. They're also painful.
The first nightmare bend is in the Holy Wars first solo. That high F to G# and back to F. I almost despise it for the way it cuts into my fingers. The second one is the high D to F in Hangar 18's second solo. It's ordinarily one I look forward to, but playing through the medley a couple of times (it's around 4 minutes so far), and following so closely after the Holy Wars one, it's like salt in the wound.
