    Al DiMeola lesson

Al's one of those guys I've started to appreciate more in recent years. The guy's rhythmic control is on a whole other level from most players, which is something I've become a lot more aware of since I started playing with a rather excellent drummer and realising how much work I needed to put into timing.
"The greatest power one may possess -- in any situation -- is simply not to care what happens.

"In fact, it's the only power, all others being a semblance and mockery of it. But you must also not care about possessing the power itself. So fuck it."

Seeing Al live was an absolutely incredible experience and I've learned a lot from him talking about "playing against the time in your foot."

Definitely a new inspiration to search deep within not only his music but my rhythmic ability as well. Go see Al if you ever can, you'll never forget that show. Fiercest pick attack I've ever heard live.
If anyone has any prayer requests, need to talk, or have questions about the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
    Feel free to message me.

    God Bless, Venator
