So i got a new swirled body which i thought would go great with a UV777BK 1998 neck.
Unfortunately, it doesn't... so it will be back for sale.
Here's the description:
This neck is in EXCELLENT minus condition. There are 3 flaws that keep it from being brand new condition. There is a single scratch from the high b-string on the headstock. There's also a 2mm x 5mm x paper thin (actually the paper was thicker) impression on the 17th fret. The last flaw is from the factory and probably shouldn't be listed as a flaw, but I'm putting it down anyway. The binding that goes under the nut is complete on the bass side, but is cut flush to the end of the board on the treble side. I can't guess why they did that, but they did and I want you to know about it.
Now that you've heard all the bad, wait til you see the GOOD. The Flame on the headstock is SO prevelant, you can see it through the paint on the top in the right light. It really is a stunning flame on it. I've NEVER seen one like it before, and I'm sure I never will again. There is NO dirt on the back of the neck...NONE. The maple has aged to a gorgeous creamy white and looks incredible, especially for being 14 years old (it's a '98 ). as you can see in the pics the frets a excellent as well, they could use a polish but there are NO dinks, dents or impressions of ANY kind. They are in UNPLAYED condition. The truss-rod nut moves freely. The pyramids are vibrant and look brand new. The pics make the rosewood look a little redder than in reality, but they're very close. If you've got questions please PM me.
The price is $450 or € 325,-
I'll ship worldwide, but shippingcosts (actual costs) are for the buyer.
Paypal is fine with me too.....
Here are the original pics (the neck is still the same)
Damn, that's a LOT of flame on that headstock! Wish I had the cash.
Anyway, can we have some references please?
