I can't believe I'm doing this, but here it is...
EBMM JP7 Prototype in Mystic Dream, fully loaded. It was made in January 2001 for the NAMM show 2001 and is one of the first JP's the world got to see, long before the start of the regular production of the JP model. I asked about this guitar in the EBMM forum and with the help of the EBMM customer support, we put the puzzle pieces together until Dudley (EBMM chief designer) remembered that particular guitar and confirmed it.

Help: What JP7 is this?? EBMM guys, help me!
Besides from being a small part of EBMM history, it is a killer guitar with stunning craftsmanship and possibly the best 7string I've ever had. But unfortunately, I don't pick up 7strings very often and it's a shame to see it collecting dust in its stand.
I even got it signed by JP himself when I was attending a workshop before a Dream Theater concert here in Berlin. You can't get more JP than this!
It is in very good condition, there are only 2 small dings that can be seen in the pictures. Some light pick swirls next to the pickups, but I'm really picky now. Everything works as it should, piezo, trem, tuners... everything's perfect. The original EBMM case is included, so is the trem bar.
As it is hard to determine its value, I'd like to trade it for something else, possibly with adding some money.
Tradewise, I'm open to almost everything that's in the same ballpark. But it should be within the EU countries as I don't want to hazzle around with custom fees. As I said, I'm located in Berlin, Germany.
I love Suhr guitars, so this would possibly be my first choice, but I'm interested in the following guitars:
- Suhr, Anderson, Tyler, PRS...
- EBMM BFR models, 25th, Reflex, AL HH...
- Fender CS Strat/Tele
- Ibanez AT-100
- maybe a nice Fender USA Fat Strat
Just shoot me your offer, worst I can say is no!
What makes this different from a production JP7?
