Brief & Accurate Description of gear/guitar: Where to begin! This started out as one of Misha's guitars that I got to play at his place and I was absolutely blown away at how amazing it sounded even stock! After much begging, Bulber let me buy it from him a few months later. I shipped the body off to my buddy in SoCal who paints professionally (dude is a BEAST of a painter too, this thing looks absolutely amazing in person! ) and had him use some of the paint he had left from the paint used on the Ford "Mystic" Mustang series which is even deeper than the EBMM Mystic Dream (which is based on the same paint they used on those Mustangs). Once I got her back I had my tech add the Aftermath 7 set and had him set up the guitar for Drop-Ab with the D'Addario .010-.059 set. Also another side bonus, check out the pics of the back of the neck, this one has a flamed maple neck on it!
Modifications (if any): As stated above, Mystic Dream finish on body and BKP Aftermath 7 pickups (don't think I have the stock ones anymore but they might be sitting in my parts bin, I can confirm if the buyer really wants them )
Accessories (hardshell case etc): Misha didn't have the hardshell case so this is coming with a gig bag and will be VERY well packed
Location (City,State or City,Country): NoVa
International OK? : No.
Contact Info (No Phone #s) PM is fine
References (eBay or other forum userid): I think most of you know me by now!
Price (include currency and if firm/obo): $1800 including shipping and Paypal
Rather than copy and paste all the pics, just check out the hi-res picture thread I posted of this one last year:
Ibanez RGD2127z Mystic Dream Refin
This one really stings to let go, but with my arthritis getting worse I literally haven't picked this thing up in months and I don't believe in "collecting" guitars as I play everything I own, so I'd hate to sit on this one when it could be someone's # 1 guitar instead. I can't bare to play it for more than 5 minutes as anything thinner than a medium C carve on my guitars has been causing major pain on my joints lately. I do NOT need any more guitars or amps, I have more than enough gear currently, so please NO trade offers, I'm not interested. If this one doesn't sell, I'm not worried about it, but I'm pretty firm on my price as these START @ $1600, so with the BKPs and the ridiculous paint job included I think my price is more than fair.
This is by far the best Ibanez 7 string I've played, period. The finish is indeed awesome.
