Man, I really don't want to do this... but bar exam fees and costs have thrown my budget into disarray and I need the rent and food money rather than the instruments/pedals/etc. Expect to see some more stuff come up as I have time to take pics and post them.
This is a massive-sounding, well-built UK-made 5-string. 34" scale, 18mm string spacing, moderately chunky neck, solid low B, and it looks like an ultrafuturistic take on the Jazz Bass, especially in the metallic silver.
I almost sold this before then pulled it because it just sounds awesome. A good clear, punchy, warm sound with the boost-only EQ knobs down. Adding bass via the onboard preamp creates some serious thickness (without unnecessary rumble) and adding treble adds some good "slice" at just the right frequency to punch right through heavy guitars.
It looks awesome too, and for being a modern bolt-on Jazz-style fiver, isn't particularly heavy. I don't have a scale, but it's lighter than my '70s P-bass and about on par with my bandmate's (unchambered) Les Paul.
Comes with gigbag and FretFX LEDs attached by previous owner. Have box, ready to ship. I REALLY don't want to do this, and someone's going to get a great bass.
Looking for $650 shipped.
