After much deliberation, I have to sell this guy. I just have too many guitars, and I have a move coming up very soon.
All maple neck
Proprietary yamaha trem
EMG 81 (will also include an SD invader and the wiring to go passive if you want as well)
This thing plays awesome, as others on the site will tell you. I don't want to give it up, but I need to shave down my collection pretty seriously, so I'm listing this one for 250 shipped.
Some of my references here are Garrett and Boots-Paul. I'm trying to move this quickly, so feel free to PM me an offer as well.
Updating and bumping this thread, as I'm still trying to sell this guitar.
Just to give it an updated specs list:
All Maple neck
frets are in killer condition
EMG 81 bridge
Yamaha three-way switch, positions off/normal/bright
Yamaha proprietary trem, super stable and in great condition.
This guitar was rebuilt from two separate guitars from this model line, so basically, that means it got the best neck, best body, and best trem and electronics from them, and it really shows when you play it. I've never played a better metal rhythm guitar, especially after I threw the EMG 81 in it. I'll also include the wiring to go passive and a seymour duncan invader pickup.
There are some dings on the body, some on the front, but because of the finish they are hard to spot, I actually had a hard time getting a photo of them.
On to some updated photos I took today.
The coolest headstock in the world:
Really cool finish on this thing, looks black unless its under bright light.
Once again, I'm asking 250 shipped. This guitar is well worth it, especially with the extra wiring and pickup. I hate to let it go, but I'm moving soon, and I can't hold on to it.
