Stupid rare 1980 Gibson Explorer E/2 in Black Sparkle

Hey gang! I really don't want to sell this, but I need to help finance building a Fast Eddie strat and a Marshall for my Motorhead trib gig, and I'm just not bonding with it yet like my other planks.

These Explorers are fairly uncommon to start with, but this one happens to be in the rarest of all the finishes offered on E/2's - Black Sparkle prism, which the sparkles change color when shifted. Apparently only about 50 were made in this finish. Looks deadly under stage lights

References; 'avhguitar' on ebay, a few on iTrader, and there's a few here and on that other place who know me and have done dealings with me before. $2500 shipped in N. America.

For more description, here's my Reverb ad: https://reverb.com/item/943995-1980-...-black-sparkle

    Seriously, find another one ;-)

Don't do it man. We are E2 brothers, and that is seriously immaculate.

Don't do it, man. I remember how excited you were when you got this, and you'll probably never find another like her.

That is stupid cool looking, it's like looking at a starfield. I would hold onto that one, and leave it to one of my kids.
