So I'm mainly posting this on the hardcore Jackson forums, but on the obscure chance one of you guys knows someone who has one and is interested or there is a member I don't know about.
So I'm a huge Jackson fan and have owned just about everything. I love it all. But these days I am mainly playing my 80s E2 Explorer. I recently got a Kelly, and it was instant love, combined the best aspects of my love for Jacksons and my love for Explorers.
Anyways, I love this Rhoads, I've had it for years and years. But the Kelly shape is just way more comfortable to me. Looking for an Ontario order. Not production. Preferably unreccessed floyd, but Kahler would be fine too depending on guitar.
Will add cash on my end if it's really sick. I know Kellys are usually valued a little more highly.
As far as the Rhoads goes, pretty self explanatory. '89 or '90. Unrecessed JT-590. Pull up route. Small painted logo. Proper 80s Rhoads frets. Oversized pickup routes. Proper lock nut. All the options you would want in an 80s Rhoads and none of the ones you wouldn't. The color is gorgeous too. I've kept this forever because it is one of the nicest Rhoads I have ever seen.
Not interested in anything else. Only a Kelly. I love this Rhoads and have kept it for years and years selling all other kinds of Jacksons along the way. I would be more interested in buying an Ontario Kelly, but Jackson guys are loathe to part with sweet guitars unless you offer them an equally sick trade.
