Based on a recent thread, I'll consider grading this difficult... so I'll call it 'relic'd' condition, because it's beat up but it plays fantastic. There's some pretty 'in depth' pics of the scratches and dings in the pictures below.
I probably don't need to give you a history lesson on the series, so I'll jump right to the specifics/aftermarket of this one.
- Sperzel Locking Tuners
- Wilkinson Tremolo
- Washburn Mercury Series 'Chainsaw' Case
- White pickguard and creme knobs
- Stock but rewound pickups. I was told they're vintage PAF spec. 2-conductor cloth wire
The tremolo works (dive-only, because of how it's routed), but the action is set really low, so the edge (where the trem. arm screws on) pushes against the face of then guitar if you 'bottom out'. I usually use the trem just for vibrato, but if you wanna be able to drop it to zero, you'd prolly wanna shim the neck and raise the bridge slightly.
Anyway, I'm looking for $250 shipped and PP'd CONUS
On with the pics!
