Carvin BB75 Bunny Brunel 5 string

So, this is for sale. Great bass, I have written about it here often and glowingly, but when I play bass its almost always my STR 6 string these days. So...

    Specs:
    Made in California, in 2012
5 string, birdseye maple board, tung oiled asymetrical maple neck through body with alder wings.
    Cherry burst finish
Carvin 18v 3 band EQ with mid sweep, with active/passive switch and 2 soapbar humbuckers
    Mediocre Fender hard plastic case
Bass is in very good + condition, as it has never been played out to my knowledge.

I got this one off Talkbass, from a member there who played a bunch of these in the San Diego Carvin store and picked the best one. It shows

As for pricing, you guys (and gals) can have it for $100 less than what I have it up on reverb for. Currently it's $950 shipped there, so $850 shipped to forum regulars. Possibly a bit higher to Canada and elsewhere but I will check if you want it & require international shipping. So, if I drop the reverb price to $850, it automagically becomes $750 here.

(@ Mods: if that's not cool let me know and I will just post a price and edit it if required)

    Current Reverb thing: https://reverb.com/item/3018974-carv...2-cherry-burst

I will get some more pics shortly, it is admittedly shy in that department.
I will consider trades for damned near anything, but particularly synthesizers (not controllers).

I dropped the Reverb price to $850 shipped, so $750 shipped to any regular here

Yeah, that was quick, but I want to get it out this weekend if possible so I can get some other stuff.

I've never cared for the looks of this model, but I've heard fairly consistently that these are extremely well regarded basses.

Yeah, Jim has repeatedly mentioned that this unseated a whole slew of boutique and exotic basses until he got the STRs.

Yeah, it may not be everyone's cup of tea, but while this bass was my main player I had basses from Zon, Elrick, Smith, Modulus, W&T, Roscoe, and Music Man come and go. And I didn't need a bass that cost 5x as much to be 5x better, just better over all. It was only when I got the STR (which was $3000+) that this started seeing time on the stand.

That said, I do sort of regret selling that limited edition 6 string neck through Smith LOL

Also, this is NOT a Kiesel
