Brief & Accurate Description of gear/guitar: 1999 ibanez 7620, all complete original parts other than pups and an added pickguard.
Modifications (if any):Crunchlab/Liquidfire, and Due to a previous owner who thought EMGs were cool,a mirror pickguard was installed.

I am basically seeing what potential buyers I could get. I am itching for an 8 string and I really hate to see this guitar go but if the right deal comes up, I would probably part with it. I am looking for a nice 8 string with either blackouts or D activators in it. All offers are welcome. No visible dings or scratches, this guitar is in great condition, and the neck is fantastic.

Don't get me wrong - it's totally 'worth' what you're asking (minus that horrible pickguard), but I think you're pricing that waaaaaaaaay over what current market value is for a 7620 UNMODIFIED, and with your mods, that decreases the value somewhat...

This thing is completely original other than the pickguard and the CL/LF are new. The neck on this thing is awesome. I cannot take less than 650 for it. I would pay for shipping and I would be losing money.

Stitch is right, unfortunately. $650 is way too high, especially since many people will view the pickguard as a negative. And the pickups are great, but unfortunately pickups (outside of perhaps the boutique stuff) never really increase the value of a guitar.

Just something to consider.

These guys are all right. Mint, this thing could go for $550, maybe. But since it is routed for EMGs, making you HAVE to use a pickguard for passives, this thing is no longer mint. 7620s usually sell for $450, and sometimes for less. There are a ton of 7620 FS threads here, you could look at their prices. Here's one:

I know it is worth more than that to you, but you can only sell it for what it is worth in the market. If it is worth more to you than it is to the market, don't sell it. Hell, for $650, you could get a used 1527, if you looked hard enough.

The 7620 kicks the pants out of any 8-string in that price range man. Keep that guitar, it looks awesome and is the best workhorse 7 out there.

Keep in mind that CL/LF is pretty popular right now, so that does increase the value a bit (or at least offset the routes, imo). I'd pay 550 for that all day long if I was in the market for one.

Yeah, I would keep it if I were you. Obviously, you think it is worth more than the market will pay for it. In that situation, always keep it.
