    Summer hiking/camping plans

From the Mt Washington Wind thread, where hiking came up, I thought I'd see what you guys were planning for this summer. I'm already trying to put something together, but as with last summer, I'm not entirely sure where to go (and where I can afford to go). I suppose I could hike here Toledo...

Last summer I hiked/camped at Red River Gorge, in Eastern/Central KY for four days. The weather was fantastic (sunny and ~85 in the shade) and the scenery was breathtaking. Barring a better plan, I may just go back again, and hit the trails I didn't get to last year.

We may try to make a trip out to Yellowstone later on this year.

Nothing concrete planned, but I've decided that if I'm to stay fit I need to start doing activities that I enjoy for workouts - cycling, as I've been doing, but also getting back into hiking which I've always enjoyed. I just picked up a rather nice pair of boots over the holiday, and I'd been making a point to climb Greylock (the tallest mountain in Mass) every time I was at my parents' place for the past year or so, which has been nice.

I'll probably walk around the block a few times.

Actually I'll probably do more local hiking as I have no idea how little vacation time or money I will have this summer and probably have to keep stuff cheap and local.

I'd be down for some hikes on Mansfield and Camel's Hump. I also have access to a cabin in the Adirondacks, and there are 46 peaks (all with hikable trails) within easy driving distance.

The crazy bit? My dad, uncle, and grandpa are all 46ers, so they've been up all of them
