    Surf and Turf Christmas Eve

    This fucker weighed in at 2 lbs. (the lobster tail). The filet was approx. 1 lb.

    Here's a shot of this bad boy split.

    Thick as hell...

    It even takes up a good portion of the charcoal grill (which I mainly cook on).

    Plate is good and ready to go:

    Ahhh... Perfectly cooked!

    Now let's take a bite!

    Very nice! One of my favorite combos ever.

    We decided to forego the traditional xmas dinner fare & my wife is making traditional mexican food. Pozole & tamales....and Dos Equis Amber to complement.
