Yeah, a lot of us mentioned it in our New Years resolutions. Let's all motivate each other and like mention our challenges and shit. <3 Who's doing what?
-Looking to drop to 170 (180ish now, maybe closer to 185 after the holidays)
-Manowar firmness Pecs and Buttocks
-32 waist to 30 (not sure about this one, I don't want to look like a scrawny retro thrash kid)
-More ripped arms
The main problem I have is, if given the chance I will over eat like fuck. I have no problem going to the gym and listening to metal for like 2 solid hours of treadmilling while ogling girls. But if I get bored, oftentimes I just go straight to "LETS CURE THIS BOREDOM BY EATING FOOD". Also, I hate lifting. I like sports and running. Cause when I am running and listening to metal I can just pysche myself out for two solid hours by fantasizing in my head about "They're taking the hobbits to Isengard". And you just can't get that level of visualization doing reps of ten whatevers. Is there any enjoyable sport that is good for upper body? I kayak in the summers, but in the winters that is not an option.
Also, I have no idea how to do a proper recovery meal/snack after doing something like running for two hours. Oftentimes it will just turn into me thinking I can hold out till the next meal and then overeating like crazy.
For 2013 I'm hoping to:
-get up to 170 (currently 158).Not sure that is doable because I need to drop some mid section/lovehandle fat.
-keep up my current gym pace (4-5 days a week, been at this pace for about 6 months). This is my biggest fear because I'm about to get super fucking busy between work and going back to school. But hopefully I can keep it all up without getting burned out.
-Maintain the rate at which i've been making gains in lifting/running
Nothing to crazy just hoping to keep up what I've been doing without dropping off.
