Beer as an energy drink! (?)

Lately I've been taking my runs to the next level (you always have to push it) by doing my regular run, sprinting back to my apartment, chugging a beer or two, and going back out and doing another half run/three quarter run.

Anyone else do this shit? Beer hits your blood sugar pretty hard, dropping it, over a couple hours. But if you do it as a mid run thing (and eat a proper recovery meal immediately after) I'm finding it's just the right combo of impaired judgement and short term blood sugar/carbohydrate boost to get me going again.

Beer certainly does give me a lot of energy. The drunk kind of energy. The best kind of energy.

I've done a drunken foot race after downing some crazy ghost chili hot sauce before, but that's it. I won too! Was way drunker than my friend.
