I've been thinking getting a new bike as an upgrade to my old hybrid. A cyclocross seems like the way to go, because I'll be cycling on both roads (that are often in pretty bad shape) and some gravel paths. So I've looked at a few models:
White CX Pro - White Bikes
Seems to have pretty good parts for the price. Unfortunately the store that sells it didn't have them in store, so I'm not sure if I want to buy something I can't try.
Then there's this one:
A bit more expensive, but with Shimano 105 instead of Tiagra (which is better I think ). This one I actually tried today and it did feel 100x better than my old bike. It weighed next to nothing, which is probably one reason it felt so easy to ride up some of the pretty steep climbs close to the shop. The bike they had in the store was a bit small (frame size S, M would probably have been more suitable), but I was still impressed with this one.
These two seem to have pretty good specs in their respective price ranges. Any other recommendations?
Oh, and does anyone want to buy an Ibanez RG7620?
Edit: This one also seems like it could be pretty good: Grade Alloy Tiagra cyclocross pyörä
I have a CX bike and I love it - it's a hell of a lot of fun. When I was shopping around, I was back and forth between a few bikes - the CAADX 105, the Ridley X-Bow and the one I ended up with, a Giant Revolt 1 that my LBS hooked me up with for $1100.

That White CX seems pretty damn solid, it's nice that this year's Tiagra has stealth cable routing for the shifters too.
