Just got these last week - haven't had a chance to try them out. Maybe they're a gimmick - maybe not.
Got some new biking gloves. The palm looks normal:

Yes, they are "turn signal" gloves. There are two metal contact points - one on the thumb and one on the index finger. You ride with a normal grip and they're just normal gloves. You touch the two contacts together and they have LED's that blink quite brightly.
I thought I'd try them out. It's getting darker now after work, so if I want to ride I want to be as visible as possible. Plus I'm not the best at using hand signals for turning. I hope this makes me signal more, plus makes people see me easier.
