Well..glad i found this site, pretty interesting place. Now, let me say to start i'm french canadien, so my english is FAR from perfect, so be gentle with the typos in my posts..LOL.
Started playing guitar at 15, in the Glory days of Metal..late 70's and 80's basicaly. I've owned basicaly almost every brand of shredder you can think of, but i'm back to more basica instruments of late, Les Pauls, Strats, Tele, SG's, and my own builds.
THe stuff i still love to listen and play you ask!..well, old school metal, Maiden, Priest, Scorpion, Zepplin, Sabbath, you get the idea.
The one guitar i always loved has a kid was Eddie Van Halen's Frankenstrat, wich is basicaly the first Guitar called a Shredder..so it's the father of them all, i like the guitar more then their music, so now having 25 000$ to buy a fender replica, i decided to go on a part quest and build my own. So i did. was a LOT of trial and error and testing on a load of old guitar parts i had lying around, when i was ok with the different technics i needed to make the replica, i started. i think it turned out pretty nicely. So made a Kramer version as well.
Let me know what you guys think..
I like that Kramer.
