Bit of a late intro to....

Me, 32 in two days, living on the Lofoten islands, Norway.
Started playing a trumpet when i was 8,
    <--me at age 8.
Got bored and went on to guitars at 10.
    <-- age 10.
All of this because a desire to be EVH, Jimi hendrix and David Gilmore all rolled into one.

Well, after a while I finished grade school,
    <-- 16
and being terribly sick of all things even remotely comparative to school, i got a job painting cars.
Enough with the pics you say? kk...

at 18 I served 2 years in the norwegian army reaching the rank of seargent. would still be there if it weren't for the insufficient funding of the norwegian armed forces....
I moved on to driving semi's for 5 years after that, until my beautiful daughter was born and I realised i'd better get an education. I became a carpenter and I've been doing that ever since.

I'm a gear-whore and a technoholic and keep ordering useless stuff because they're cool and I want to pick them apart figuring out how they work.
I try to learn as much as i can about everything, and I've learned a lot
from this site and "the old place", so thx to all of you.

The time in the army and driving completely kept me from being in bands so I haven't played in one since i was 18 . So now I'm trying to get something going again as I picked up the guitar a couple of years ago, trying to relearn all the things i'd forgotten over the years.

I hope to get a small business going with a friend, fixing, selling and building instruments as that market is somewhat lacking up here.

Well, I guess that's about it.

    Hi all!
