    hey you all...

I am interested in making my Telecaster sound better. How do I know what pickups are genuine Fender Telecaster and not the low quality ones ? I am also interested in using a maple stain on a telecaster body that's been sanded. What are the suggestions here in MG ?

For pickups, if they say Fender, and you bought them from a reliable place, they're Fender. Seymour Duncan, DiMarzio, Bareknuckle, etc. also make great Telecaster replacements. I just put a set of Fender Texas Specials in my Warmoth Tele and they sound amazing.
