    Cheers from Deutschland

    Hi there,

I've been reading here for quite some time, as of recently been posting and thought it was a fine opportunity to open up a thread like this.

The name's John, I play lead guitar in a modern death/thrash band which I also happen to produce/mix/master/whatever (link in my signature, please do give it a listen, it would be very much appreciated). My gear consists of an Ibanez RG550 from 1993 - square neck joint, ibanez lo pro trem, really a "best of both worlds" RG in my opinion, fitted with Dimarzio D-Activator in the bridge position, and an S320 (all stock and pretty beat up) going into a Randall RH150 G3+. Rather budget gear, still gets the job done amazingly well.

Looking forward to some fruitful dialogues on this message board and I plan to do a number of youtube uploads - just have to overcome my weaker self, or "schweinehund" as is said in German.

    Schweinehund it is! (kinda)

Don't worry about people talking behind your back, it just means you're one step ahead and they're in perfect position to kiss your ass!
