    Which Fishman Aura pedal are you using? I have a piezo-equipped guitar and I'd love to make it sound a bit more "realistic."

    With the tubescreamer, I'm not adding any extra gain. Just using it to tighten things up, and running the volume below unity.

    I originally used a RAT for this (which gave a very snarly, tight, vicious rhythm tone), but then switched to a Tubescreamer. Lowered down the saturation and tightened the bottom end for rhythm, then when you turn it off you get more volume and the bottom end comes back for adding "bloom" to leads.
