Yeah, minimal number of minutes is fine, and Call Display and Voicemail I definitely need. Unlimited texts would be sweet, also, if that's not already included (I saw it was on some Bell iPhone plans and not on others). As far as budget, anything lower than $100 a month is fine, really, so if this is like $70-80 even I'm perfectly cool with that.

What kind of budget are you looking at for your plan? The data is $30, and a plan to cover what you stated would be another $25-$30, before Call Display & Voicemail (Do you need those BTW?)

I asked my guy to see if there is anything he can do for you plan wise though, so I'll let you know once I hear back.

Sweet, let me know, I think I'll be perfectly happy with the 4. Hell, I bought my iMac like a month before the new ones were announced, and I think the same happened with my iBook 4-5 years before that I've accepted that, as an Apple user, I'm always buying at the wrong time

Also as far as minutes go, I hardly ever use my phone for actual voice calls, I average about 60 minutes a month But I use a shit load of texts and web browsing.

Is there anything drastically new being hinted at about the iPhone 5 that would be worth waiting for, or will the 4 be "current" enough to keep me happy for the next few years?

Hey buddy, since you're the resident cell-phone-service-in-Canada guru, I've got a question:

I can switch from Solo to Bell right now with no fees for switching and transfer my $75 hardware upgrade credit along with me. I'm itching for an iPhone, and my contract's up in a matter of months (no idea exactly when, but it looks like I signed up for this 3-year contract on April 6, 2008, so I'd have to guess sometime around April 6th ). Should I transfer to Bell now, or would I get a better deal if I wait out my contract and start a new deal with either Bell or Rogers? Also, who has the better iPhone service?
