    I know a bunch of you will remember the Hang drum - a very cool, VERY hard to get instrument

    They are awesome. My bassist/singer is a security guard at Gatwick and searched a guy carrying one. We checked out his site and immediately decided we have to get a Hang drum on our record somewhere.

    awwe! thatīs so awesome! iīve wanted one of those for ages!

    there are many companies that make instruments that are "inspired by" the hang drum, like the Hapi drum, but none have been close to the same sound.

    i donīt know if these Halo (LOL) thingies are comparable in quality to the originals, but if they are, then thatīs really awesome! from what i see, it doesnīt look quite as touch-sensitive as the hang drum. when you see people playing the hang, they barely need to touch it to make a tone.

    All of the Hang "inspired" instruments I've seen have been tongue-based, this one seems to have the same construction as the Hang. I do see what you mean about touch sensitivity though.
