That doesn't make any sense. I don't listen to any music that contains instruments I hate (why would I?). How could you listen to any rock period if you hate drums?

I hate vocalists. Why I continue to listen to music with vocals is beyond me.

I liked the smooth criminal bit, and I think his moving cymbals around was something I've never seen.

The kid has the skills to pay the bills - a very entertaining and well-done performance.

Because you're insane? If you hate vocals and listen to music with vocals, then you must like annoying yourself and subjecting yourself to unpleasantness. That's like hating beef and eating steak every day.

It's the old view of playing fast does not necessarily mean playing the best.
Sandoval, George Kolias (Nile drummer), Origin's drummer (dont remember his name but fuck is he awesome) could play this kids solo, BUT this guy would lose his arms trying to play "vengenance is mine" outro or "opening of the gate" drum solo or from Origin "Finite". Nuff said.

Not bad for a non metal guy but i've heard better, a lot better. And as for originality, more like randomness, thats not how you play drums. Doodling around jazz style after a while...
