I purchased this bass of eBay back in November - it's a Warwick Corvette Proline. Solid flame maple body, ovangkol neck/fingerboard, active MEC electronics, bell brass frets. I was losing interesting in my EBMM Stingray5, and wanted to try something different. I've totally fallen in love with this bass over the last 6 months, it can go from mean to clean with the flick of a few knobs. The maple makes it not as heavy as your traditional bubinga bodied Warwick, but yet there is still plenty of low end available. After sitting in its case for the last 6 months, the EBMM is going to be sold. Pics!
Oh yeah, even though there are some battle scars on the body, this beast was only $475. Prolines are pretty damn cheap on eBay compared to the regular Corvettes.
