Well, here's a couple quick shots of the Dingwall Combustion V.2 custom. Sheldon Dingwall himself went the extra distance & did the following customizations:
1. Added a passive/active switch for tonal flexibility.
2. Added a flat black pickguard instead of the stock pearloid models.
3. Profiled the neck to match the higher end Dingwall Z series basses.
And yep, Sheldon's initials are on the back of the headstock as the inspector as well.
I got it last week & it was just in time for my festival gig at the annual Bite Of Seattle. Thanks to the Dingwall & an SVT 8x10 stack, I was shaking all of Seattle Center with that godlike Low B. It's everything I wanted. 70's style Fender Jazz Bass looks w/ the modern flair & versatility of Dingwall.
