This seems pretty solid for $500, eh? Check out the layering at 3:20 or so.

Most EPs have the layering option, but the best bang for your buck for an 88 weighted key is always going to be a Yamaha. They know what they're doing, being a piano manufacturer.
Stay away from Korg and Roland EPs. Rolands also sample Yamahas but layer them with effects and they end up sounding clangy and plastic. Korg generally samples Bosendorfers which I could never stand. Liszt liked them because they could stand up to his abuse, but I always found them to be way too bright and lacking in the smoother dynamics found in Steinways and Yamahas.
Go for it.
