In the next 6 months or so I'm going to have to have most of my daily belongings confined to the space of my car. After that, I may or may not have a little more space. So, I'm planning to sell my Acoustic B100 combo since it's big and bulky and heavy. I figure I can get maybe $130 for the B100 so I'd like to not spend either any more or not much more for a new practice combo.
Please help me choose the best practice bass combo for that price!
Some things I'm looking for:
- Headphone jack necessary
- Significantly smaller cubic footage than the B100 at 23.5"X18.75"X15" and weighs 53lb
- Be able to at least let me hear my low B on my 5 string hehe
I'm looking on guitar center's site and there are a bunch of 1x8" and 1x10" combos in the price but I guess I just don't know what to look for. Thanks for your time!
If space is at a high premium, I'd go with one of those little Roland Cube's. They're ultra-small, generally have headphone jacks, and are loaded with effects, and sometimes have CD/mp3 player inputs
