    Wood Grain filler

Does anybody know what type of dye I should purchase to mix with my wood grain filler? I'd like to darken the grain of an awesome piece of ash, but am unsure of what type of dye and where to purchase the dye to mix with the filler. Any suggestions?

What filler do you have? You can get Timbermate filler in a variety of colors, that's what I use and love it, no need to mix colors. They have a black filler too, which is excellent, doesn't stain the wood or finish you're working with, just fills the pores. It's also cheap, and mixes with water and lasts a long time when kept in a container.

I've been wondering about this same thing since I have an ash body on the way. Thanks for the info!
