    NBD: G&L L-2500 limited

So, another bass has come my way, and it looks (and smells!) brand spanking new. This is a limited edition L-2500 and has a ton of cool sounds in it. Great neck on her as well: I had heard they were very large but it is a very comfortable neck to play for 10 minutes anyway, will need to see what its like after an hour someday soon.

So.... the flame maple front head on:

Another front shot from a slightly different angle

    Swamp ash back

One of those odd off angle shots

    And finally the headstock

I absolutely ADORE that model. My buddy's dad had one that we always played, which then prompted two of my friends to go out and buy one. Such a wide range of sounds, and they all sound good. I like being able to choose between active and passive.

I've never played a G&L bass, but they always look and sound great, and I loved the guitars I played. Being a big Fender/EBMM fan, it makes sense that I'd like the sound and feel of a G&L.

looks sick man. I still don't like non-stained maple tops though lol

L2ks are awesome. The pickups are ridiculous and super versatile. Congrats on this one too!
