So I've been looking for a bass to noodle around on for a while now and my neighbors decided to have a garage sale a week or so ago when it was nice out and I picked this up. It's a Mako p-j knock off of your standard Fender. The words cheap and shit come to mind when describing it but the neck is straight, the frets aren't completely dead, and I got it for so cheap that it doesn't matter. It's clearly made of plywood based on the weight alone, I think it weights more than my strat and rhoads combined, so I wouldn't want to stand with it for more than thirty minutes. All in all I can't be unhappy for how little I paid for it and I've had fun dicking around on it. It has a few problems mainly the E-e spacing on the nut is 1.9" as opposed to 2.2" which from what I understand is the standard for p-j bases and the truss rod is nearly stripped but they're fixable. Anyway onto the pictures.
And a few pointless pictures with the contrast maxed to look "artistic."
Dibs on those sick ass sheets. White Bass ftw
