Holy Jesus fuck balls I love this program.
Here's a clip I made after tweaking my drum sound, really pleased with the kicks! Been going for this vibe for a very long time now and found it quite difficult to achieve with SD1

I think MF sounds much more detailed and aggressive, more powerful and just more "together" than my previous mixes. That may just be down to the fact that I've got better at mixing drums though
I used to replace my SD1 kick with a sample in Battery 3 because I wasn't fond of the kicks, but not anymore! This also opens up many possibilities with my AE work, as the tonal capabilities on just 1 kick can get about 100 different sounds.
The samples are much more raw and untouched than previous releases, they even said on the "making of" video that they used no postproduction, so you get the samples as they were in the room, which just makes them so much more tap-able, and actually makes it much easier to get the sound you want.
i really gotta pick your brain on this whole mixing and mastering thing. This is probably your best sounding clip and guitar tone (Everything really) i've listened to yet.
