Losing A LOT of sound quality through my behringer eurorack, any recommendations on brands? Looking for unpowered mixer, no onboard FX, the less digital the better.
There was a Mackie at GC that had what I wanted for 200$, and Ive heard good things about them. I just want it to sound clean when I run through it for recording, I dont have a ton of money to spend though.
If you are on a budget, Mackie is the way to go. I'm assuming at that price point you were looking at one of the 1202's. If memory serves, those have an ALT 3-4 out and would work great for both live and home recording.
If you have a little bit more cash, get your hands on a used Allen and Heath. The EQ section is heaps better and on the used market, most people do not realize how much better the EQ is compared to a Mackie - so they underprice it.
