    Guide:Parallel Compression + Aggressive Drums

This is not my own guide. But one I found very useful and I think you guys will too!

It explains parallel compression with step by step instructions on how to perform it! Sounds amazing on drums.

I'm a big fan of parallel compression- you need to be careful though not to absolutely squash the fuck out of your drums.

For even more win, do some googling on sidechain compression on the bass guitar using the kick as an input.
