Hey everyone, thanks for your help in advance
I am attempting to find the best way to record in stereo using my AXE-FX going directly into a Tascam 100 (just got it for X-mas / beggars cant be choosers ) audio interface (Product: US-100 | TASCAM has only one guitar input however the one guitar input is capable of recording in stereo.
Here are the front inputs:
and the back inputs
I am currently running a Hosa Stereo 1/4" Phone to 2 - Mono 1/4" Phone Insert Cable (Buy Hosa Stereo 1/4" Phone to 2 - Mono 1/4" Phone Insert Cable | Instrument Cables | Musician's Friend) from the output of the AXE-FX into the audio interface.
I get a lot of interference (noise) in the line, upon researching it online i found that Insert Cables should not be used with guitar equipment (is this correct)?
My other option would be to use an XLR cable, i have a regular XLR cable as well as a XLR to 1/4" (stereo) cable, is there a way to send a stereo signal using this approach?
Thanks again everyone!
